AHA ACLS Renewal Requirements
This Oregon CPR ACLS course is specifically for renewing ACLS certification. If you are not currently an ACLS certified provider, please register for a first-time ACLS course provided by Oregon CPR.
Pre-Course Materials
Pre-Course Self-Assessment and Pre-Course Work Required: A pre-course self-assessment and pre-course work must be completed before attending this course. Upon reservation of a place in the class, Oregon CPR will email you the link to all pre-course work.
Class Description
The American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. It expands on the skills learned in the AHA’s BLS course.
The course teaches:
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
Oregon CPR does not offer refunds once your registration is complete. If you are unable to attend your scheduled course, we offer one free course transfer, but you must contact the Training Center at least 48 hours before the start of the course.
