BLS for Healthcare Providers

• For physicians, nurses, therapists, medical students
• Professional CPR, ventilations and TEAM CPR practice

This class is for individuals who are healthcare providers or professional rescuers. (Doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, massage therapists, physical therapists, etc.)

This class covers certification requirements for the American Heart Association (AHA). We’ll cover:

• Assessment steps prior to beginning CPR
• 7 Responses to Medical Emergencies
• CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Breaths for adult, children, and infant including the use of a BVM
• AED for adults, children, and infants
• Choking for adults, children, and infants
• Our skills tests require the use of a feedback device. All our adult and child manikins are equipped with the latest feedback device technology.
• Written AHA BLS Exam

Approximate BLS Course Length: 3.5 – 4 hours (depending on class size and time taken for skills testing and written test)
